A person that I admire in my field is Claudio Hetz F.
He's a biotechnology engineer of University of Chile, when he was 24 traveled to Suiza to continue his studies(PhD. in biomedical sciences), and then he went to Harvard to perform his postdoctoral studies.
Also He's a:
-Full professor in the University of Chile
-Adjunct professor of Harvard school of public health
-Adjunt professor Buck institute for research on Aging
-Deputy director neuroscience biomedical institute (BNI), faculty of medicine, University of Chile
-Associate investigator FONDAP center for geroscience, Brain health and metabolism, Santiago, Chile
-Director neurounion biomedical foundation
Nowadays he's a researcher, his work is mainly the disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), parkinson and alzheimer.
His work has attracted attention in other countries because his paper publication rate is 15-20 by year, and not in any magazine, but in other like Science or Nature. This allowed him to obtain financing of different sources like the foundation of Michael J. Fox., ALS therapy Alliance, Alzheimer asociation and others more.
I Admire him for his work, his dedication to the research and mainly for its success.
I'd love work with he, in his laboratory, also I love him line reseach so it's perfect.
Love, José
